03→
Direct supply

We supply directly to foundries, die casters, chemical processors and scrap dealers across Rajkot, Jamnagar, Ahmedabad and the wider Gujarat industrial belt.

Why work with us

Rajkot advantage

Based in the heart of Gujarat's engineering belt - 240 km from Mundra Port, 90 km from Jamnagar's brass cluster. Shorter lead times and faster delivery than any trader.

LME-linked pricing

Every price is transparently derived from the London Metal Exchange. You see the exact formula - LME rate, metal content %, processing discount. No hidden markups, ever.

Budget 2025 savings

Zero basic customs duty on copper, brass and key metal scrap since Union Budget 2025. We pass the full benefit to your landed cost - significantly cheaper than pre-2025 imports.

Full compliance

IEC registered, GST compliant, RCMC from EEPC India. All imports follow DGFT scrap policy with mandatory pre-shipment inspection and Basel Convention compliance.

Common questions

Good to know

The London Metal Exchange (LME) is the world's primary market for base metal futures, options, and spot contracts. Founded in 1877, it sets the daily cash price for copper, aluminium, zinc, lead, nickel, and tin. Every metal deal globally references this price as the starting benchmark. The LME price moves continuously based on global supply-demand, dollar strength, energy costs, and macro data. Scrap grades are then priced at a discount to LME depending on their purity and the cost to process them back to primary metal.
Metal content % is the mass of pure, recoverable metal per tonne of scrap. If you buy 1 MT of Honey grade brass at 63% Cu, your furnace recovers roughly 630 kg of copper. Your cost per kg of actual copper input is therefore the scrap price divided by 0.63. This is why traders and foundries always evaluate scrap on a cost-per-kg-of-contained-metal basis, not just the headline price per MT.
These are ISRI specification names used globally by exporters, inspectors, and buyers to define exactly what is in a lot.
  • Candy (Bare Bright) — uncoated copper wire, 99%+ Cu. The cleanest and most expensive copper scrap.
  • Birch/Cliff — clean copper solids such as pipe and bus bar. 96 to 98% Cu.
  • Honey — clean yellow brass solids, 63 to 66% Cu. The dominant import grade for Indian brass foundries.
  • Taint/Tabor — mixed old aluminium alloy sheet. 97 to 99% Al. Standard grade for aluminium recyclers.
Using the wrong grade name in a contract is a significant commercial risk. Inspection agencies like SGS verify the grade at origin.
Landed cost is the total cost to get material from the origin warehouse to your facility gate.
  • CIF value — material cost + insurance + ocean freight to Mundra
  • BCD — 0% for copper and brass post-Budget 2025
  • IGST — 18% on (CIF + BCD + SWS), recoverable via ITC for registered buyers
  • Port and CHA charges — typically Rs 3,000 to 6,000 per MT
  • Inland freight — Mundra to Rajkot roughly Rs 2,000 to 3,500 per MT by truck
We provide a full landed cost breakdown before any deal so you can compare against your domestic supplier price accurately.
LME copper is driven by a handful of factors: Chinese manufacturing demand (China consumes roughly 55% of global copper), the US dollar index (a stronger dollar pushes LME prices down in USD terms), mine supply disruptions from Chile and Peru, and LME warehouse inventory levels. For buyers, the decision to buy spot versus wait depends on your inventory cover, your consumption rate, and your view on the USD/INR rate — since both the metal price and forex rate affect your landed cost in INR. We can help you model this before committing to an order.
Pre-shipment inspection (PSI) by an accredited agency like SGS or Bureau Veritas means an independent inspector examines and samples the scrap at the origin warehouse before loading. They verify grade, weight, moisture, and metal content against the contract. India's DGFT scrap import policy mandates PSI for most non-ferrous scrap categories. Without a valid PSI certificate from an approved agency, customs clearance at Mundra will be blocked. We arrange PSI on all lots as part of our sourcing process.
The Basel Convention controls the cross-border movement of hazardous wastes. Most clean non-ferrous scrap qualifies as non-hazardous under the Green List, allowing relatively free trade. However, mixed or contaminated scrap containing hazardous fractions may require prior informed consent from the importing country. India enforces Basel compliance through its Hazardous Waste Management rules. All lots we source are verified to meet Green List criteria before purchase.
